What may happen if SpaceX invades Pecan Island

This short observation of the plusses and minuses of SpaceX coming to Louisiana's southwest coastline covers all the bases of aspirations and concerns I might have for the community. I am really having a time wrapping my brain around the concerns I would have about an industry shooting big rocket ships out of delicate marsh lands. Wouldn't the relatively loose foundation be a concern for the stability of the foundation of the launch pads?:
