Yes, I'm one of those people who have very fond memories of Grand Isle. I'm also the person who thinks we should be using concrete debris to line our coastline, as I question whether the amount of pollution created by the cement is relatively that toxic. Transporting rock from other regions is much more expensive, and the costs to save our coastline, and Grand Isle, especially since we have foregone major Mississippi River diversions, is exhorbitant:
